My name is Christophe Vantongelen, and I have over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. 

I started my career as an IT support specialist, where I gained valuable experience in troubleshooting technical issues and providing excellent customer service. Later on, I passed 5 Microsft certifications and I moved up to become an IT system administrator, where I was responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of several organizations like bank, real estate company, stock broker and international administrations.

While working in these roles, I became increasingly interested in information security and cyber awareness. I realized that as technology becomes more advanced, the need for strong information security practices and awareness among employees is crucial. Having decided to give a new impulse to my professional career, I finished a Master's degree in Information Security Management at Solvay Brussels School.
This 2 years master's degree (evening classes) was divided into 4 tracks of 3 modules:

That's why I work closely with all stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, and then develop customized security solutions that meet their requirements while also aligning with industry best practices and local regulation (GDPR, NIS2...)

I have delivered large technology projects on schedule/on budget and in alignment with the business strategy, including planning and practical implementation phases: file naming plan, reorganizations, purchasing, moving / optimization and virtualization of IT infrastructures (local & multi sites).
